The Administration on Aging sought to develop a high-impact public awareness campaign for National Older Americans Month. The agency needed a comprehensive, visually unified package that would support its theme “What we do makes a difference.” In addition, the package would provide all the necessary materials for its constituents across the country to help spread the word about the public awareness campaign.
I conducted initial research and developed a strategy, which highlighted the “actively aging” community. I provided turnkey services to develop the kit’s content, from conducting interviews with subject matter experts for feature articles, to arranging photo shoots of aging citizens in a variety of settings for use in the design of the kit. The final package included an orientation brochure, sample press release, posters, and interactive CD containing other materials.
